Thomas Burton Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Burton Smith of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 21, 2021 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Gregory Smith; his grandparents, Phyllis, Donald Watkins, Sam and Annie Nickerson; and his stepgrandparents, Gladys and Harry Smith.

He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Smith (Walkins); his wife Colleen Smith (Wright) of Hammonds Plains, NS.; his siblings, Jennifer Smith and Craig Smith; his siblings-in-law, Brian Mowat of Hamilton, ON, Maureen Bisson of Trenton, ON, Joyce Lang (Klages) and Shaun Lang; and his cousins, Timmy Watkins, Charlie Blades and Heather Orde. He is also survived by several cousins, nephews, aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer or the Nova Scotia SPCA.
