He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrzej Obirek and Bronisłava Obirek (Zaborniak). He is survived by: his wife Regina; his children, Tomasz (Raegan) and Barbara (Craig); his grandchildren, Oceana, Sebastian, Aiden, Odessa and Olencia; and his niece Marta Wieclawek (Marek).
