He was predeceased by: his parent George Beaman; and his brothers, Donald Beaman and Gary Beaman (Beverly). He is survived by: his parent Iola Beaman (Mac Vicar); his sons, Gregory Jennings and Derrek Jennings; and his siblings, Barbara Jennings (Gordon) of Halifax, Georgina Warren of Halifax, Elizabeth Chiasson (John) of Halifax, Kathy Lloy (Andrew) of Halifax, Jean Starling (David) of Halifax, Robert of Halifax, Jim (Mary) of Kingston, NS, Perry (Bernice) and David (Tori). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
