He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Slade and Greta Slade (Murphy); his sisters, Marjorie (Alfred) and Betty; his stepsister Myra; his brother Charles (Sadie); and his stepbrother Cyril (Joan).
He is survived by: his children, Debra, Heather, Chrissy (Mark), Wendy (Andre), Paula, Buddy (Blanche) and Mark (Allyson); and his nieces and nephews, Tom, Marie and Gail. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
