He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leadbetter and Ada Leadbetter of Oxford; his wife Erna Leadbetter (DesBarres); his daughter Sheila; and his siblings, Laurie, Ralph and Lorraine Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Harold (June) of Grand Barrachois and Kim (James) of Fall River; his granddaughters, Lauren and Kate; and his siblings, Lloyd Leadbetter (Shirley) and Glenda Daken (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
