She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Dill (Jack) and Rita; her husband Percy Jeffrey; her sons, Robert, John (Freddie) and Timothy Jeffrey; and her siblings, Ernest, Joseph Meriggi, Ronald, Donald, Thomas Dill, Helen, Josephine Meriggi, Clara Novelli and Glenna Mercier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gina Jeffrey (Halifax) and Mary Kearns (John); and her brother John Dill (Sackville). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Violet's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Nova Scotia.
