He was predeceased by: his former wife Paula (Schurman); his parents, Tom and Eliza (Treasure) of England; and his sisters, Kathleen, Vera, Grace, Pat and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (MacGregor); his children, Tyler (Alexis Carr), Susan (David Green), George (Kelley) and Sarah (Mark Collins); and his grandchildren, Jessica Richardson, Brett Richardson (Lauren), Katie Richardson (Travis), Laura Schinbein (Dustin), Sydney Richardson-Carr (David), Hannah, Sam Richardson, Jack and Sierra Collins. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Tom served a term as President of Engineers PEI and as President of Charlottetown's oldest Rotary Club, which subsequently presented to him the Paul Harris Fellowship award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to his community.
