We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 90, Susan Verlean (Smith) Miller (Halifax, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Genevieve Smith (Crowel) and Thelbert Smith; and her siblings, Leora Atkinson, Thelma Stoddard and Norman Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Heather of Brantford, ON, Cheryl (Bernie Blanchard) of Berwick, NS and Robert Miller of St. Thomas, ON; her grandsons, Peter Blanchard (Berwick) and Gerald Blanchard (Halifax); her siblings, Mable Thornbird of Barrington Passage, NS, Ruth Nickerson, Lois Caulwell of St. John, NB and Rodger Smith; and her caregivers, Nick, Linda, Harjeet, Navya and Phuong.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's memory may be made to the local NS Chapter of the Alzheimer Society.
