He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Stewart and John Morse; and his wife Patricia Morse. He is survived by: his children, Kelsey Morse (Michael) and Alex Morse (Morgan); his grandson Thomas Fileccia; his siblings, Pam Fairclough (Chris) of Halifax, Kathryn Pummel and Michael Morse (Nadia) of Ontario; his siblings-in-law, Pamela Sweet Smith and Tony Sweet (Kathi) of Halifax; and his nieces and nephews, Holly Huett (David) of Calgary, AB, Heather Fairclough (Brian), Alison Sweet, Alexandra Sweet, Adrian Sweet of Halifax and Will Smith of Halifax.
