Stanley Clifford Matthews Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stanley Clifford Matthews of Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Matthews and Mae Matthews; his wife Shirley; and his children, Michael and Debra Manning.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Todd of Halifax, Linda Matthews of Halifax, Sharron Martell (Mark) of Halifax and Tony Matthews (Joyce) of Halifax; his daughter-in-law Val Matthews (Jody); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Laura, Josh, Sarah, Mitchell, Chelsea and Makayla. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Purcell's Cove Social Club (16 Shipside Ln, Halifax, NS B3P2G2).
