With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Margaret Beattie of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Margaret Beattie to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Savoie and Hazel Savoie; and her sister Molly Noble of Moncton, NB.. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Giles and Jami Beattie (Neal); her siblings, Gary MacDonald (Linda), Daryl Savoie (Laurel) and Gail Dalby (Gary); her aunt Bernice of Montreal; her grandchildren, Justin Beattie and Raeann Giles; and her caregiver Halifax Infirmary. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cole Harbour Funeral Home & Crematorium (1234 Cole Harbour Rd, Cole Harbour, NS B2V1N2).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Arthritis Foundation of Canada in Shirley's memory.
