She is survived by: her children, Hughie Tibert (Lynn) and Marilyn Allan (Don); her grandchildren, Matthew Rideout (Amanda), April Solomon (David), James Allan and Katherine Allan; her great grandchildren, Rebecca Steadman (Daniel), Logan Solomon and Olivia Solomon; and her sisters, Joan Fellows and Yvonne Radford. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial Donations in Shirley's name may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, Arthritis Society Canada - Nova Scotia, or to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation as she was a dedicated supporter of their foundation.
