She was predeceased by: her parents, Gulab Dutt and Mani Devi Sharma; her husband Raj Mishra; and her son Aditya (Vinita). She is survived by: her son Harsh (Rita); her grandchildren, Anuradha (Rishi), Ravi, Rekha, Amit and Vinayak; and her caregivers, Marian, Hazel, Ana Nympha, Virginia, Maria, Seara, Shiella, Brenda, Daryl, Rizalina, Shane and Conchita.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the QE II Foundation or Dalhousie Medical Research.
