Sally Hayward Obituary

The passing of Sally Hayward of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Brighton, Ontario leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 17, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pitt and Catherine; and her husband D. Hayward. She is survived by: her children, Paul (Joan) and Kathleen (Jerry); her grandchildren, David (Jacqueline), Peter, Robin, Laura and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Ethan, Liam and Audrey.

We also wish to acknowledge the staff at Timberwalk Retirement Residence, especially Tammy and those on the care staff, for the positive environment provided to Sally, in particular throughout the pandemic period and during the last month of her life.

Her wishes were for donations to be made to the Ottawa Humane Society.
