With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Wayne Boyle (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Russell Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Russell Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Boyle and Vola Derbyshire; and his siblings, Terry and Carole. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Jennifer Branton (Jason), Cindy (Matthew Foot) and Matthew (Kate); and his sister Marilyn Boyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a scholarship in Russ's honor for high school students who demonstrate both financial need and a deep passion for mathematics.
