It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Maclean Nicholson (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Samuel Nicholson and Mary Isabel MacLean; and his sister Thelma Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nicholson (Levy); his children, Dawn Nicholson-O'Brien (Greg O'Brien), Dr. Michelle Nicholson (Robert Pless), Jeffrey Nicholson (Kim Keeping) and Erin Nicholson (Monica Janek); and his grandchildren, Nicholas O'Brien (Mariève Soares-O'Brien), Connor O'Brien (Emily Armitage), Serena O'Brien (Alex Seki), Ian Hunter, Rachel Hunter, Maya Nicholson, Robyn Nicholson, Shaelyn Nicholson, Ashley Nicholson and Isla Nicholson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Bethany United Church.
