He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lawley (MacLennan). He is survived by: his father Gordon Lawley; his wife Darlene Shortell-Lawley; his stepchild Hanna Nathanson; his brothers, Jim (Andrea Brinton) and Jeff (Shelley); and his nephew James.
