It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Malcolm Cromwell (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur M. Cromwell and Bea (MacLean); and his sisters, Carolyn (Jim Miller) and Ruth (Ron Hartlen). He is survived by: his significant other Georgie; his children, Susan (Charles Piercey) and Robert (Angela McNamara); his grandchildren, Matthew, William, Lukas (Piercey), Ryan Cromwell and Jillian (Lucas Bos); and also, Travis and Sonny Bos.

In Ron's memory, in lieu of flowers, he would ask that you kindly give your time to someone in need, hug your family close and tell them often how much you love them.

“Ron was a Father of my very dear friend and neighbor, Susan. He and Georgie were often coming to Vancouver to spend time with Susan's family. I had many opportunities to talk to Ron. What a lovely man he was! Always positive, super friendly and very helpful. On many occasions Ron would drive his grandsons and my son to and from school which was a great help for me. Every time I came to pick up my son from Susan's home after school, Ron greeted me with a great smile or a joke. Thank you, Ron.”
