He was predeceased by: his parents, James Slaunwhite and Alice Slaunwhite (Jollimore); his daughter Anita Slaunwhite; and his siblings, Gerald Slaunwhite (Julia), Lois Slaunwhite (Marshall) and Nona Sampson (Arthur).

He is survived by: his siblings, Tishia Boni and Ivan Slaunwhite (Shirley); and his grandson Chevie Beck.
