He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Nixon and Marguerite Nixon (Hudgins); and his sisters, Pauline Platchta and Marion Creelman. He is survived by: his pet Lucky; his wife Doris B. Hardwick; his children, Mark Nixon (Sue) and Teresa Nixon; his stepgrandchildren, Cody Baxter, Alta, Jessica Baxter and Drayton Valley; and his siblings, Everett Nixon (Peggy) and Winnifred Lightfoot of Wilmot. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
