He is survived by: his children, Paula Rice (Paul), Darrell Evans (Christine), Lisa Walker (Jeff) and Carrie Garand (Richard); his son-in-law David Garand; his grandchildren, Fallon (James), Tristian (Alison), Alyssa, Dawson, Rachel, Landon and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Evalena, Claire, Locklyn, Blake and Grayson; his stepgrandchildren, Darren, Holley and Isabella; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jayla, Thomas, Xavier, Bryson and Rayanna; and his siblings, Donald, Ronald, Barbara and Shirley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ralph to KidSport Nova Scotia to provide an opportunity for all children to play.
