She was predeceased by: her parents, Malbibi Gill and Sampson Gill; her husband David; and her siblings, Edwin, Butamal and Gulzar.

She is survived by: her brother Sharif Gill (Toronto); and her nieces and nephews, Rajiv, Raju (Shubnam), Sunil (Elva) and Niloo (Dan).
