We bid farewell to Peter MacQuarrie in Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 28, 2024 at the age of 72. Peter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Peter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. William MacQuarrie and Carolyn MacQuarrie (Wall); and his siblings, William (Barbara) of Chance Harbour and Janet Cameron of New Glasgow. He was also cherished by eight nieces and nephews and fourteen grand-nieces and nephews.
