She was predeceased by: her parents, William Penny and Helen Penny (Deveau); and her siblings, Muriel, Glenda and William.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Allen; and her siblings, Gloria, Helen, Doug, Harold and Wayne (Pam). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emanuel Anglican Church (322 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3R1V4). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Anglican Church (322 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3R1V4). A reception was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spryfield Legion (7 Sussex St, Halifax, NS B3R 1N8).
