He was predeceased by: his parents, Aulay Howie (Hazel) and Winnifred Boutillier (Spencer); and his wife Debbie Howie. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Howie (Margo) and Jeffery Howie (Kerry); his grandchildren, Sarah, Jack, Rachel and Ryan; and his sisters, Judy Orde (Carl) and Audrey Matheson (Angus). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
