She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Salmond and Freda Salmond; and her husband Carmen J. Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Harvey Mitchell (Marlene) of Bay Fortune, P. E, Elaine Taylor (Stephen) of Dartmouth, N. S and Lorraine Perrott (Trent) of Brookside, N. S.; her grandsons, Stephen Mitchell of Charlottetown, P. E., Tyler Perrott (Crystal) of Kentville, N. S. and Luke Perrott (Brittany Kelly) of Bedford, N. S.; and her sister Marilyn MacPhail of Cornwall, P. E.. She is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews.
