She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Smith (Bill); her brother Jim Kelly; her parents, Minnie Kelly (Grendler) and Ralph Kelly; and her in-laws, Ada (Haas) and Vincent Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Smith (Eric Tripp) of Toronto, Sean Smith (Cindy Harrigan) of Halifax and Rebecca Smith of Wolfville; her grandchildren, Mia Tripp (Halifax), Ellie Tripp (New York City) and Zachary Smith-Kalpachiev (Wolfville); her brother Dan Kelly (Deborah Arundel) of New York City; and her siblings-in-law, Verdona Kelly, Bob Smith (Canton), Jim, Joanne Smith and Peggy Benzkofer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
