It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lasaga (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Long Harbour, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Bruce and Martha Bruce (Whiffen); her husband Hubert; her daughter Dinah; her children-in-law, Buzz Cole and Cindy; her grandson Theodore; and her siblings, Thomas, Michael, Francis, Margaret, Ida and Elizabeth.

She is survived by: her children, Timothy (Sandra), Perry, Judy and Debbie Cole (Shawn); her grandchildren, Theresa, Tara Lee (Chris), Huey (Hilary), Barry and Davey; her great grandchildren, Dinah, Grace and Max; and her sisters-in-law, Charlotte, Yvonne and Jennifer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
