It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Mary Pompa (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Harland and Emily Harland (Kelly); her husband Ernest Pompa; and her siblings, Bernadette, Theresa, Anne Burke (Michael), Elizabeth Harland, Robert Harland (Sharon) and Joseph Harland.

She is survived by: her children, Robert (Paula), Ann Dunsworth (Peter) and Kathryn McCarvell (Steven); her grandchildren, Stephanie Dunsworth, Geoffrey Dunsworth, Jessica McCurdy, Scott McCarvell, Robyn Pompa and Lucas Pompa; and her great grandchildren, Maddox, Joshua, Alex and Arlo.
