With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Thomas of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Daniel Thomas and Mildred Lousie Thomas (Johnson); her siblings, Elizabeth Ratte, Pearline Byers (James), Joseph, Rodney and Fred Thomas Sr.; and her brothers-in-law, James Byers Sr., Alan Mitchell and Larry Barton.

She is survived by: her close friends, Kathy, Ann, Alice, Judy, Debbie, Theresa, Linda-Lee, Barbara, Tracy O. and P. Margie; her siblings, Kathleen Mitchell, Velma Skeir (Wendell), Mary Clayton, Patricia Thomas-Barton, Germaine Lawrence, Alexander Thomas (Heather), Alvin Lawrence (Wanda) and Troy Thomas (Grazie); and her sister-in-law Paula Clarke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
