Margaret Edna MacMurdo McMillan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Edna MacMurdo McMillan (Halifax, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl MacMurdo and Amy MacMurdo; her sister Janet Mildred MacMurdo; her husband Alan McMillan; and her daughter Heather.
She is survived by: her sister Marian Gillespie (Sid); her daughter Janet; her grandchildren, Katelyn Dempsey (Andrew McAloney), Matthew Dempsey and Dorset Houston; her great grandchild Chase McAloney; her nieces, Susan and Cynthia Gillespie; and her friend Sandra Oxner.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ja Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the QEII Health Sciences Centre Foundation.
