It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madeline Ann Mader of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Bedford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 3, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Brefni and Mary Blanche Ternan (Butler); and her significant other Gerald Frederick Mader. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Greenwood (Natasha), Ted (Beth), Cathy Campbell (Bill), Ann Noddin (Mike), Eleanor Power (John) and Elizabeth Greene (Eric); and her grandchildren, Natalie (Daniel), Christopher, Nicholas (Alyssa), Liam, Kelly, David (Jane), Richard (Christine), Jeffrey (Amanda), Scott (Eliza), Stephen, Stephanie, Michael (Monique), Andrew (Victoria), Kevin, Sean, Ryan and Adam. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
During the COVID-19 pandemic she learned to use an iPad so she could start up nightly family chats with her children and grandchildren across North America.
