He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Flaim and Marina Flaim; and his siblings, Antonio (Nino), Maria and Tomaso.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his sons, John (Erin), Matteo, Tom, Edita (Briana), Josh and Jacob; his brother Amedeo; his sister-in-law Carol Ravina; and his brothers, Giovanni (Giuliana) and Romedio (Bruna). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in honour of Lico to the Canadian Cancer Society.
