He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessey Starratt (Greenlaw) and Cyrill Starratt; and his siblings, Margaret Starratt Turner and Alvin Starratt. He is survived by: his daughters, Leah Ellis (Brett) of Dartmouth and Karla Balcita (Joel) of New York; and his grandchildren, Kaitlin Ellis-Moore, Luke Ellis, Addison Ellis, Julian Balcita and Sadie Balcita.
