It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen A. M. Ellis-Russell of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sabra Moses (Wetmore) and William Ernest Ellis; her husband Douglas William Russell; and her stepson Andrew. She is survived by: her children, Gillian (Charles) and Allison; her grandchildren, Tyler, James, Noah, Matthew, David, Rose and Luke; and her stepchildren, Marian, Mark and David.
