She was predeceased by: her father Calvin Lopes; her sister Twila Lopes Elliott (Nfld) of Corner Brook; her grandparents, Mathew, Mary Lopes, Marvin and Ethel Upshaw; her aunts and uncles, Johnny Upshaw, Gary Lopes, Michael Gray, Judy Lopes and Nancy Lopes; and her cousin Jody Upshaw.

She is survived by: her mother Sheila Lopes of Dartmouth, NS; her friend Marg Murray; her nephew Wyatt Elliott (Toronto); her niece Alicia Lopes (Halifax); and her great-nieces, Jaelyn Lopes (Halifax) and Avery Richards.
