Joseph Ronald Marchand Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2025, Joseph Ronald Marchand of Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedee Marchand and Stella Marchand (Sampson); his wife Claudette; his siblings, Evelyn (Basil), Carl (Verl), Ray (Joan) and Roy; and his brothers-in-law, Bill and Arthur.

He is survived by: his children, Charlene (Craig), Stephen (Marie) and Lisa; his grandchildren, Thomas (Sonya), Chad (Cassandra), Samantha (Chris), Joseph (Leah), Amanda (Roger), Nicholas (Danielle), Sarah (Cameron), Riley and Shannon; his siblings, Doug (Donna), Gary (Bonnie), Betty, Diane and Jean (Clarence); and his sister-in-law Carol Ann. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
