It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnena Elizabeth MacIntyre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie MacInnis (MacIssac) and Hughie MacInnis; her significant other Janice Delaney; and her siblings, Tootsie MacDonald, Ellen Macdonald, Margie MacInnis and Kevin MacInnis.
She is survived by: her former husband Linden MacIntyre; her children, Ellen MacIntyre (Troy Stewart), Darrow MacIntyre, Bernadette Murdock, Daniel MacIntyre (Denise) and Maggie MacIntyre (Nigel Eyre); her grandchildren, Tess, Liam, Tommy, Skai, Maria, Jesse and Jacob; and her siblings, Anne MacDonald (Jackie Dan J.), Marie Campbell (Carmen), Brian MacInnis (Sharon MacDonald), Rosalie MacNeil (Sandy) and Louise MacNeil (Neil). She is also survived by forty-one nieces and nephews.
