With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Fenton Brophy (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Montréal, Québec, whose life came to an end on June 28, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton and Barbara; his brother Cavan; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Beatty and Wayne Saulnier.

He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Swinamer (Steve Rumboldt) of Lantz; his grandson Harley; his siblings, Katherine Ann Beatty, Barbara MacLeod (Allan), Colleen Saulnier, Theresa Jackson (Michael), Patrick (Patti), Michael (Carol), Dennis (Amanda) and Tim; and his sister-in-law Barbara (Conroe). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Flowers gratefully accepted, Donations made be made to The Salvation Army Halifax Chapter, The Canadian Cancer Society – Halifax Chapter or to the charity of choice.

John was also a client and one that always treated our staff with kindness and respect. Janet and I shared a couple of memorable vacations with John and Andrea in Jamaica and Cuba, Also enjoyed a week in Houston on a golf trip that was a great highlight for me. John you will always be in my memories”
