It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Barry Wheaton (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Barry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Barry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Teresa Wheaton (Dipenta) and Jack Wheaton; and his sister Shirley Dean (John). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; and his brother David Clifford (Mary Lou). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
