It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Morrison of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jamael and Dolena Jamael (Miles); her husband Dinny; her son Stephen (Dinny); and her sisters, Rita Jamael, Carol Savage (Tom) and Mabel Daisomont (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, John (Colleen Marshall), Archie (Cindy), Rita and Kelly; her grandchild Trish Brady (James); her children, Paula MacPherson (Daryl), Jennie Morrison (Brad Berry), Alexandre, Emma Kehoe (Jimmy), Teresa Burns (Tyler), Matthew and Daniel (Orane); and her brother-in-law Bob Daisomont. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
