It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Marchand (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Violet May Maddox; her husband Ray; her grandson Cole; her brother Joey; and her sister-in-law Mary.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry (Sandra), Kevin (Lynn) and Darrell (Tania); her siblings, Susie (Tom) and Gary; her sister-in-law Arlene; and her grandchildren, Shawn (Holly), Chris (Chantal), Ryan (Tracey), Brad (Katrina), Jeff (Brittany), Melissa (Connor), Rebecca (Heather), Carissa and Chase (Brittany). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society in lieu of flowers.
