He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Robert Durnford and Edith Jane Childs; and his siblings, Mable, John, Janet, William, Ida and Reginald.
He is survived by: his sister Mary; his wife Sarah; his sons, Dean (Kim), Daniel (Heidi) and Dion (Jackie); his grandchildren, Lindsay (Marcus), Shawn (Charley), Emma, Adam, Eric, Dana, Dax and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Haden Muiser and Violet Bowser; and also Dudley.
Dad also served several years as the Warden at the Emmanuel Anglican Church in Spryfield, where he donated many hours keeping the church and adjacent hall in good condition.
