It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Charles Wheatley (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alicia Wheatley and Herbert F. Wheatley; his granddaughter Naomi Wiegers; and his sister Judith Wheatley. He is survived by: his children, Kim Wiegers (Norman), Mark Wheatley (Kim Michaud) and Jodi Hirtle (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Noah (Cate Ratcliffe), Gideon, Leo, Alicia, Benjamin, Zachary and Joey; his brother Ross (C. Phyllis Carroll); and his close friends, Phyllis, Dick, Pat Burns and Howard Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Snow's Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S 0E1). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
