It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Heather Rosanna Hackett (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Williams and Russell Williams; her siblings, Doramae Clayton, Atlee Williams and Dean Brooks; her daughter Dawn Coles; her aunt Rose Adams; and her former husband Billy Coles (late Teddy Hackett).
She is survived by: her sisters, Charlotte Croxen of Alberta, Jocelyn Williams Taylor (Harold) of Ontario and Coralee Leslie (Alan) of Ontario; her children, Ruthanne (Paul), Lela (Roger) of Ontario, Carnita (Franklin) of Halifax and Larry (Kathy) of Lower Sackville; her grandchildren, Josha, Shane, Iesha, Leah, Alex, Nigel, Lyndell and Cortez; her godchildren, Tammi Dixon and Glynnis Desmond; and her close friend Carlotta Weymouth.
