He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Laplante and Alexina Laplante; his wife Anna Della Harris (Naval); his son Roy E. Laplante; and his great grandchild Tyler Laplante.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah A. Laplante and Margo D. Bradbury (Walter); his grandchildren, Kristi Laplante and Catlin Bradbury (Glen Collins); his great grandchild Danielle Laplante; his brothers, Fernand, Jacques and Germain Laplante; and his close friend Anne O'Neil. He is also survived by partner.
