He was predeceased by: his parents, Gwyn Mitchell and Alex "Scotty" Mitchell. He is survived by: his siblings, Dale (Kathy) and Jan (Rick MacKay); his daughter Michelle (Tim McKay); his grandchildren, Alex and Molly; his uncle Daryl Burgess (Muffey); his stepsons, Paul and Alan Wetmore; and his stepsiblings, Art, Gary Vieth, Bev Verge and Janet Forbes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 6151 Lady Hammond Rd, Halifax, NS B3K2R9.
