Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gloria Marie Purvis of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Chester, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 94, on July 24, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklyn Hume and Hattie Hume (Rafuse); her husband Evans Borden Purvis; and her siblings, Greta, Joyce, Keith, Barclay, Lloyd, Basil and Weston. She is also survived by nephews and great-nieces and great nephews and a cousin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
