She was predeceased by: her parents, Freerk Jansma (Fred) and Ebeltje (Ebel) Jansma (van der Laan); and her brother Jan Jansma. She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Ron (Gail), Don (Nancy), Colin (Vanessa) and Gwen; her grandchildren, Alison, Greg (Jen), Michael (Samantha), Lucas (Cassidy), Linnea (Chris) and Landon; her great grandchildren, Silas and Raeya; her sister-in-law Lynn; her niece Heather; her nephew Steven; and her cousin Genevieve (Stephen).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
