It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Lawson MacLean of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Helen MacLean and Herbert Lawson MacLean; his brothers, Anthony William MacLean, Jeffrey Matheson MacLean and Herbert Theodore "Ted"; and his former wife Carolynn "Lynn" Laury MacLean.
He is survived by: his wife Jie MacLean; his sister Helen Marguerite MacLean of Halifax; his children, Richard "Rick" Herbert Paul MacLean of Montreal, QC and Wendy Deborah MacLean of Marmora, ON; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn MacLean-Stewart and William MacLean-Stewart.
